Sometimes you get left behind in life...

As some of you know, a feral mama cat had 4-5 kittens out in one of our shops out back behind my office. My boss gave me the task of feeding the momma cat till the kittens were old enough to be taken to the shelter. One small glitch in that plan, the momma cat ran off over the weekend but she left this little one behind. Maybe it was too small or maybe she didn't feel it was worth carrying wherever she took the rest of them but I think it should at least be given a chance. It was left to die on the cold cement in a dark corner. So here I sit typing with one hand, while it sleeps in my other.
