Softball season has officially begun... welcome bruises, dirt in my shoes, balls flying past my head, 12 hour days, strikeouts, ultimate highs and saddening lows, grade checks, sunflower seeds, electrolyte re-fueling, team unity, early outs, taco bell dinners, singing on the bus and learning about extended families, becoming responsible for one another and finding passion in 3 simple pieces: a ball, a bat and a glove.
Then watching that one moment when it all comes together...
